Privacy Policy

Last updated October 13, 2026. This policy covers the apps and websites published by BH 770 LLC ("we", "us"), including Rebbe.io.

What we collect

Questions you ask. When you ask a question in Rebbe.io, the text of the question and the recent conversation are sent to our servers so an answer can be generated. We keep a log of questions and answers to improve answer quality and to prevent abuse.

Technical data. Our servers record standard request data such as IP address, device type, app version and time of request. We use it for security, rate limiting and troubleshooting.

Reports you send. If you flag an answer as wrong or inappropriate, we store the flagged answer and any note you add.

Account email (optional). You can use Rebbe.io without an account. If you choose to sign in, we store your email address and link the questions and answers from your conversations to it, so you can read them on any device. We email you a one-time code to sign in.

We do not ask for your name, contacts, location, photos or microphone.

How answers are generated

Answers in Rebbe.io are written by an AI model using passages retrieved from a library of Jewish texts. To do this we send your question to third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic and OpenAI), who process it on our behalf. Do not include personal or sensitive information in a question.

AI answers can be wrong. They are for learning and are not a halachic ruling, or medical, legal or other professional advice. For a practical ruling, ask a rabbi.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers that host our servers and generate answers.

Advertising and analytics

Some of our websites may show ads or use analytics from Google. Those services may set cookies or use device identifiers as described in Google's policy.

Retention and deletion

We keep question logs and technical data only as long as we need them for the purposes above.

If you have an account, you can delete it and everything saved in it from the Account tab in the app, or by following the steps on our account deletion page. If you used the app without an account, email us with the approximate date and time you used it and we will remove what we can identify.

Children

Our apps are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes we will post the new version here with a new date.
